MIRACLES IN THE CHURCH

Power permeated the entire community through the manifest presence of the Spirit. Unbelievable things happened. Things you’d only expect to see in an X-Files episode – tongues of fire, miracles beyond reason and dead people coming to life again. Enemies that once would kill each other, given the chance, were now calling each other family. Imagine President Trump and Hillary Clinton sharing Christmas dinner together. Possessions and earnings were freely shared. Imagine the Jeff Bezos of this world distributing their wealth. The believers met regularly together, saturating themselves in worship, prayer and the word. The momentum was such that not even persecution could stop the growth of the church. It had begun. The Bride of Christ was birthed. You can read this true story in the book of Acts in the Bible.

Could it happen again? If so, how?

Yes! That’s meant to be our story today! Transformative power is released when Christ’s church, through the grace of his Holy Spirit, clothes itself in humility, obedience and love. When each one is submitted to the other and submitted to the will of the Father. Can you imagine what our churches would look like if individuals lived with this common desire? It starts with you.
