Okay, so here's how it all started.
My dad had the idea of writing a book for Jonas for his 7th birthday. It was titled, "The Incredible Mind of Jonas Holmes". (It doesn't take a detective to guess what it was about.) That book started a precedent. If Jonas got a book on his 7th birthday, what about Daia, Anya and me? As each of our 7th birthdays came around, Dad wrote another book. But with each new book being written, one-by-one the older kids joined in. By the time the 4th book was printed, the whole family was into it. That's when we had the bright idea of connecting the books to a larger story and re-releasing them. That's how the Dreamstone Chronicles was birthed. Each book is being re-written into an elaborate plot, which is sure to keep you desperate from the next book. The first book to be released was "Anya Hope and the Super Sketcher", the second was “Daia Joy and the Queen Anne’s Revenge’ and the more is still to come.

We love to spend our Saturdays writing together. 

We sit around the table with a big piece of paper and an old yoghurt carton full of colorful pens.

The first thing we do is dream.

Some of us think hard about where the story could go.

Some of us think hard about where the story has come from.

Some of us wonder what a brown marker tastes like.

While some of us just doodle our names.

But one thing is always certain...

We are always having fun!
